Christmas Gift Letter

Appreciation for a Christmas gift is must as it brings smile on the face of your loved ones who takes pain to send you a beautiful gift on such an occasion. Writing a polite thank you note is the best way to express this feeling. It conveys a lot about your manners, upbringing and your nature.

Dear Andrew,

I would like to thank you for the beautiful scarf that you gave me as a Christmas gift. It is just the appropriate one for me as I have always wanted a similar one. It is very lovely and just the right gift this winter. I loved its bright and vibrant colors. I promise you that I will wear to work every day. Your Aunt too liked the vial of perfume that you gifted her. She has asked me to thank you for it. We shall surely try to come this Christmas as your cousins are also missing you a lot and would love to play on your play station.

Thank you once again for your thoughtfulness and also the time and efforts you have spent on getting the beautiful things for us.

With best wishes,

Warmly,

Uncle John

Gift Letter

A “Gift” is something that everyone would love to get but only a few loves to give. One needs a large heart to give a gift to someone. A Gift can be in cash or kind or materialistic in nature. The gift may be given without any letter accompanying it or might just have one informal letter with it.

A Gift Letter is a medium of informing the recipient that a gift has been attached or enclosed with the letter. It is another way of ensuring that the recipient not only reads the letter, s/he also looks for the gift. Since a Gift Letter is personal in nature, it may be hand written. A gift is something that is given on ones own the tone of the letter should not sound as if a favor is being done to the recipient. Loving and caring words should be used in the letter.

A Gift Letter should be addressed to the person to whom the gift is being given. It should also give details of the gift that has been attached or enclosed with the letter.

DOS AND DON’T’S OF GIFT LETTER

  • A Gift Letter should always give details of what form of gift is being enclosed or attached or packed with the letter
