Agreement Letter

An agreement letter is a formal letter written to express agreement over a certain issue that had been previously debated and discussed. Such letters are short letters that inform the recipient that there is no problem with the issue at hand from the writer’s side and that the writer won’t mind going ahead with the proceedings. Agreement letters usually last a paragraph, two paragraphs at the most. They cannot be written longer than that as the nature of an agreement letter is only to express consent. The letter ends after that.

  • Agreement letters, as mentioned before, are short letters that do not express more than a simple consent or agreement over an issue. Therefore, always remember to keep the tone of your letter formal, practical and short.
  • Mention any ideas or suggestions you might have with regard to issue you’ve expressed your consent upon. This will help the recipient of the letter feel sure of your wholehearted agreement.
  • Now that you have expressed your agreement, also mention any foreseeable problems in the future or any new developments you might have to plan for. Make it clear from your side that you are ready to contribute to cooperate on with this project.
