A ‘tax’ letter is written by a concerned citizen to an official about the overall tax procedures, communicating the problems faced by the tax system. Each and every citizen must pay their taxes on time. The government then utilises the money for development of the country by constructing roads, dam, schools and much more. Paying taxes is not just our responsibility but also our prerogative as responsible citizens.
This letter is highly formal and hence a highly important letter. Structure the letter into three paragraphs, comprising of an introduction, a body and a conclusion. It is crucial not to be rude in this letter; voice out your concerns in a calm manner. This letter will indicate the discrepancies in the tax report and ask for it to be fixed as soon as possible. This request must be conveyed professionally and courteously because mistakes are bound to happen by the best of us.
