Last Updated On September 10, 2018 By Letter Writing

The letters that are written for collecting information about job seekers, prices, products, and services before awarding jobs, granting credit, making contracts and giving promotions are known as letters of inquiry. Inquiry letters are usually written by a person so as to clear their doubts with regard to the subject, whether it be a job interview or a conference. An inquiry letter must be written immediately after reading through it so as to prevent any confusion before the day of the said interview/conference.

Subject: Inquiry on conference to be held

Respected Sir,

I received news from my colleagues about the Green Earth conference organized by your group and I would like to inquire about the details and requirements to attend the said conference.

I am a strong advocate of wanting to protect the environment, and hence I have a few questions to ask regarding the conference. Since I am not a member of the organisation, will I still be allowed to sit for the conference? If so, am I supposed to pay an extra amount of money or none at all? How should I apply to be a part of the conference?

Aside from these questions, I have some other basic questions that I want to ask such as when and where will the conference be held and will the seating arrangement be on a first-come-first-serve basis? Will the organisation be providing us with lunch?

I have been an environmentalist for a long time, and I am really interested in attending your activity.

If you need to contact me, you may reach me at _________(phone number).

Thank you. I pray for your positive action.

Sincerely,

Your name.
