Apology Letter for Not Joining Company

This letter is address to the company who has selected the candidate but due to certain issues or problems the candidate won’t be able to join the company hence he/she writes and apology letter in the name of the company. The letter should be address to the head to the recruiting department stating the reason behind not joining the company. As the relation between writer and receiver is formal language used by the writer should have to be professional.

I am Mr. Reginald L. Archer hereby inform you that I cannot join the company for the post of Marketing Manager. I know I have cleared all rounds at the time of interview and got eligible for the respective post in your company. Before going for the interview I had give an entrance exam that CAT for Business Management Program for the year 2010-2011 and know I got selected by the top most college of the city. The college itself is providing me scholarship for the same course, hence know I had got the life time opportunity and I don’t want to miss it. Your company has been very kind to me by giving this pleasure to work with you. Please try to understand my situation and accept my sincere apology.
