Dear Ms.Clark,

(In first paragraph, include the information like why you are writing, position you are applying for and source of the job listing)

I am forwarding my resume in response to the advertisement found in Simply Hired for the position of Housekeeper . I believe that my years of work experience make me an ideal candidate for the concerned position.

(In second paragraph, include the summary of your work experience.)

My work experience includes:

  • I held a position similar to the one in Cyprus, where I was employed by Mr and Mrs Aristidou in North¬† to look after their two young boys age 6 and 8 till July 2010 as they were planning to spend some long holidays abroad after this period.
  • My duties with Mrs Aristidou were again to look after their two boys and carry out general housekeeping work whilst Mrs Aristidou was running her Saloon business.
  • In general, Mr and Mrs Aristidou would drop the children to school and my responsibilities were to collect them from school, prepare the dinner and look after them till their parents arrive from work.
  • Regarding housekeeping, this included the full organisation of their four story house, cooking for the whole family, laundry and ironing.

(In third paragraph, thanks the employer and include the information about how you follow up)

You can contact me at 123-456-7890 for confirming the interview. I appreciate your time and efforts in this regard. Thank you for considering my resume for the relevant position.

Yours Sincerely
