This kind of letter is written to a vendor, supplying goods, for terminating any contract with him/her because of any type of discrepancies in the supply of the products such as delayed for irregular supplies and maybe many other reasons. The final date, i.e., the time from which the dealers are going to stop receiving goods from the vendor, must be mentioned in the letter to settle the final payments.

Here are useful tips to help you write a notice of termination of the service contract to the client or vendor for poor performance. Refer the following sample to learn how to write a letter to discontinue service.

Vendor Termination Letter Writing Tips:

  • The letter must contain the exact reason, described clearly, of the termination of the services be described in detail.
  • It should be kept in mind that no harsh or offensive language is used in the letter since it is a formal letter.
  • The date of the final day, the dealer is going to end up the contract, must be mentioned explicitly in the letter, to clear up all the monetary dues.
  • The letter must be ended with politeness and proper thanksgiving.

Email Format

This letter can be used to let your vendor know that you are dissatisfied with his poor services like delayed/irregular supplies and hence are terminating your contract with him. The date from which the termination comes into existence is mentioned along with the request coordination action for the final settlements.
