Introduction Letter

Last Updated On September 12, 2018 By Letter Writing Leave a Comment

The best way to get a job is through networking. Over 80 percent of the employment seekers say that networking has helped them get a new job. But this does not mention that every success event includes a direct connection. You might not be aware of this network, but your friends may be knowing about it. A letter of introduction might be the best way to create a connection with someone you don’t entirely know yet.
There are two different types of letters of introduction. In the first category, you will introduce the person to someone else whom you know. That someone can be your boss or any other higher authority who might give this person the job based on his potential, skills, and experience. In the second type of letter of introduction, you would write to someone you haven’t ever met. You will introduce yourself and ask them to refer you to a particular place of work for a job opportunity or request help in looking for a job. A letter of introduction can be a useful way to network and gain job search advice (and even a possible job opportunity).

Tips On writing the Introduction Letter

  • It is highly recommendable to keep the letter concise and to the point.
  • Formally refer the names with Mr., Mrs., Dr., Ms., etc.
