Marketing Letter of Intent

Last Updated On August 24, 2018 By Letter Writing Leave a Comment

A letter of intent is written for various purposes including professional, business, educational or even personal reasons. The letter should be informational as well as professional. The letter must mention that the parties are negotiating and also clarify the important points of transaction.

The intent letter is a document outlining the general plans of an agreement between two or more parties before a legal agreement is finalized. A letter of intent is not a contract and cannot be legally enforced; however, it signifies a serious commitment from one involved party to another. It is a formal statement that the author has a serious intention of doing something under specified conditions and at a specified time. To verify certain issues regarding payments made for someone else.

Subject: Marketing

Dear Mr. Menon,

We are pleased to have the opportunity to propose a merger of your specialty bread chain, ‘The Bread Basket’ with our cakes-and-cookies chain, ‘Jake’s Bakes.’ We are happy to note that your six outlets are doing good business.

Currently we have seven outlets in the city which are doing exceptionally well; in fact, our cakes and home-style cookies are the most sought after. We plan on opening new outlets in the neighboring cities as well.

As you are well aware, opening newer branches requires a lot of workforces and capital investment. So we would like to propose that we merge our businesses and increase our financial and human resources strength. This will be mutually beneficial as our products complement each other very well instead of competing. With this merger, we can increase the number of our outlets and the sales and see a rise in profits, and easily meet the challenge of competition head-on.

Please, feel free to get in touch with me, so that we may discuss this further, in detail.

I can be reached at 88889999. Hoping to hear a favorable response from you.

Thanking you,

Yours Truly,

Jake Thomas.
