Employment Training Letter

Last Updated On July 2, 2018 By Letter Writing Leave a Comment

An Employment Training Letter is a letter written to a person who is preferably a student or a candidate who will soon be looking for employment and entering the professional world. Employment training is an important aspect of the start of one’s career graph, and employment training letters are, therefore, important components of generating prospective employees during events such as campus placements. Such a letter is formal in nature and must, therefore, be written professionally.

Such type of a letter serves the purposes of offering internships and providing the opportunity to participate in workshops and to enhance the working skills of that student or candidate. An Employment Training Letter is generally written in a very courteous manner. Through this letter, the writer informs the receiver of the details of that particular workshop and internship. The writer also lets the candidate know that he/she has been deemed qualified and meritorious enough to join or be a part of the project. However, the writer must not acknowledge the candidate greatly so as to cross the professional bounds.

Employment Training Letter Writing Tips

  • Praise the receiver of the letter. Let him/her know that you acknowledge his/her credentials and that it would benefit him/her to hone those skills by interning with your company.
  • Be courteous in your approach; disclose the details of the internship sentence by sentence.
  • Be clear and concise in your points. The details of the internship/workshop should reach the client just as you have intended for them to reach him/her. This will establish an effective communication with someone who could be a prospective employee.
  • Mention prior interviews, short listing, etc. Also mention common conferences, meetings, and other meets where the company’s representatives might have had some contact with the individual.

Dear Mr. Charles Sebastian,

It gives us great pleasure to inform you that you have been shortlisted for the NCPA Writing Internship from September to December 2013. We, at the NCPA, after carefully considering your prior application as well as the interview you gave in your college, have decided that this workshop would be appropriate for honing the potential skills that you already possess.

Writing—screenwriting as well as story-writing—can be tedious if not executed in a well-disciplined manner. We believe that every potential writer, with the evident talents, abilities and the capacity to work hard, deserves a chance to prove himself/herself and show his/her clout in the industry. This internship has been specially designed to give potential writers a better outlook and a more insider view of how things are made in the performance sector.

We, at NCPA, hope you will accept our offer.

Congratulations on qualifying!

Regards,

George Jones,

Executive Director
