A character reference letter is a recommendation letter written by someone who can attest to your character. A referrer can be you someone who knows you well and can positively attribute to your characteristics. These letters may be required by people applying to join an association or purchase a property. These letters are also required for jobs that require a high level of trustworthiness. A character reference letter includes one’s opinion about the person being addressed. This letter is usually written to the head of the company/school/university or any higher official.
