Introduction Letter For a Job

All job applications have to have a resume or a CV that will help the applicants secure the job or at least increase the probability of them getting the position. However, given as how competition is so stiff nowadays, it becomes necessary to go that extra mile in order to get what we want. This means we may have to work slightly harder for us to get the best position. In case of an application, this extra mile may be the cover letter that the applicant attaches to the resume. This cover letter is called a job introduction letter because it introduces the person who is applying for the job while giving a sort of preview of what is about to follow in the resume.

  • Always be polite and courteous. Thank the company for the opportunity to apply for the job. Mention the reasons why you think you would be appropriate for this job and why this job would be appropriate for you.
  • Be clear with your introduction as it will create the right impression. If the introduction is good, the recipient will obviously feel optimistic with the resume. This will give a feeling of being on the right track to both the parties.
  • Never make the letter too long. Keep it around two medium-sized paragraphs or three small ones, not longer than that.

In applying for a job, a resume alone will not be enough especially that competition is very stiff. A good introduction letter must come with your resume so that the employer need not open your resume to find the most important details. If you are applying for a job, submit your resume together with an introduction letter by following the sample letter we have made below.

Dear Sir

This letter serves as my application for the position of senior operations manager in your most esteemed company. Enclosed herewith is my recent resume for your reference.

As for my work experiences, I have been a business process manager for Global Company for two years. I believe that my work experiences as well as educational background make me qualified for this post. My career background has molded and prepared me to the various problems that normally occur in this field. Aside from that, I have strong leadership skills which I was able to develop from my past work as a general manager. For this, I am confident that I have met the standards set by your good office.

During my free time, I play badminton and bowling and aside from that I am fan of our wildlife.

Hoping for your immediate response,

Respectfully Yours,
