Subject: Reference letter for a faculty member

Respected Sir,

I am very much pleased that you asked me to recommend you a faculty member of chemistry for your college. I would like to verify that Mr. ABC has been teaching in our college for almost eight years now and do not posses any type of socially unacceptable activities. He does not have any criminal or police records. His services have always been above average. In my personal opinion his works are way beyond the satisfactory.

If I talk about his character, he is very hard working, very much sincere and very serious about his job. His students had always excelled, no matter what are the circumstances; his work is always up to the mark. The grades of his students are always good.

I am very much obliged that you asked for my recommendation. I would suggest Mr. ABC for the vacant post. I hope you had found the right man within him. Thanking you.

Yours Sincerely,

If you are to transfer from one school to another or if you are to switch courses and major in a certain company then you should make it a point that you contain the department head letter. This will be very important to the school or the department wherein you wanted to be enrolled in.

This is for reference of Mr. Joseph Compton who would like to take business course under your guidance at the Diving Word University. Mr. Compton has been my student for four years and I can assure you that he is a very bright and responsible student, in my almost forty years of experience, I can say that Mr. Compton is one of the brightest and the most common students that I had. His undergraduate business plan was great in fact, it can be compared to those that are made by graduate students and are now into master’s degree in business course in the US.

I believe that once Mr. Compton is under your guidance then his business knowledge and brightness can be converted to excellent and incomparable business skills that can help him a lot as a student who aspires of handling his own business in the future.

Thank you.

Sincerely yours,

Mr. Edward Brighton
