Sample Deepest Sympathy Condolence Letter

Last Updated On September 10, 2018 By Letter Writing Leave a Comment

Showing sympathy can be a difficult task, but in times of loss, there is only one thing that can help the grieving feel better which is sympathy. It is a difficult period for people to lose family members or friends. In such a case the least you can do is show some kindness in the form of concern and supportive words. Writing a condolence letter should be done with heartfelt emotion and in the correct format. It is not a time for people to be reading letters but if a letter has the power to make a person feel better, you should do all in your power to write the perfect condolence letter.

Remember that through this letter you can show your unconditional love and concern for the grieving family. In such times the grieving family only needs a little love from their relatives and friends, and that is why you should do all that you can to make them feel better. You can never replace anyone lost, but the least you can do is only talk about their happy memories or make the family a little cheerful remembering the past. Show your hundred percent support to the family of the deceased since at such a time the family would need it and would be great if you would be able to give them that. Also clearly mention that they should not hesitate in asking you for anything small or big.

Deep Sympathy Letter Writing Tips

  • Write a short and concise letter.
  • Offer help and support to the grieving.
  • Share some good memories to make the grieving feel good.
  • Be very polite and supportive, do not add information that is not necessary at the moment.
  • Show your hundred percent availability to the grieving.
  • Do not mention anything not related to the condolences. Anything other than the condolences can be talked about later, and it would be rude to talk about other things at such a time.

Subject: Sympathy Note

Dear Jaina,

It’s was shocking to know that your father passed away and it’s just a week before I had a chance to meet him and it is unbelievable that he died in a car accident.

I understand the grief you are going through. I want to convey the deepest condolences to you and your family. I will pray to the Lord that he gives you the strength to cope up with the situation. He was like a father figure to me. After my father had passed away, he was there as a guide and support for the family, and I owe a lot to him. I still remember how he supported us during my sister’s wedding starting from looking for a groom to her marriage. Everything he handled with ease as though his daughter was getting married.

Even during my admissions to the college, he came along with me and helped me complete all the procedure. He was a person respected and admired by the community. His death is a great loss to the community. My family and I are there to extend our support to you.

Please feel free to contact me for any requirement.

Yours Sincerely,

Shreya
