Resignation Letter for Career Change

By Letter Writing Leave a Comment

A formal resignation letter for a career change is written by an employee to the HR of the company stating the reason for his resignation. This is one of the suitable ways to let the employer know the resignation reason and also maintain good relations at the same time. It is a formal way of frankly communicating the reason of resignation to be that the employee seeks a career change or a decision of shifting to better options.

A career change also may sometimes work as a game changer in the same company. If the HR believes that the employee would fit the bill for another opportunity in the same company, matching his career change plan, he also might try to retain the employee and facilitate an internal transfer or career change in the company. After all, all HR managers, try to retain a valued employee. Ideally, this possibility would be explored in detail, when a one to one meeting is held between the HR and the employee when the resignation letter is handed over. So a resignation letter focusing on the career change(advancement) will either way work positive for an employee.
